I got a new phone one of those LG env things. It's green. And it's confusing as all hell. At least it's somewhat similar to my old phone, so I get some of it. I had to redownload my ringtones, tho

OK, that is just ... just ... well ... pretty darn accurate, as it turns out ...

I saw Iron Man today. WOW! Go see this. It's a super hero flick, but it's believable. Like you can't believe a guy is chasing after masked characters like the Joker. Or you can't believe a guy is from another planet and has super powers. Or you can't believe that a guy has all sorts of crazy powers because he was bit by a spider. This one? It's more believable to me.

IM was good, but my problem was it built toward a climax that never happened. Good story-telling technique, but the story itself needed some tweaking. I liked it, though ... did you stay all the way through the credits?
And BTW ... Joker doesn't wear a mask ...

Oh I know. You get what I'm saying, though, about someone like the Joker.
Granted, I think Batman Begins was a bit more believable than some of the other Batman movies. Does that make sense too?
I did not stay though the credits but I heard what happens. I forgot there was a post-credit thing.
And what this climax that never happened? I do think there was something missing, but it was an overall entertaining movie that I liked a lot. I need to get the soundtrack.

Basically the post credit IM thingy just sets up Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury for his movie. It was a whole ten seconds or so. You didn't miss much.
I too liked Iron Man. For some reason Tony Stark was more believeable as the superhero type.

Fitting the title of the thread since I'm most likely moving again. The question is where. If I get the job in DC, then I'd move there. If not, then I'd have to move back home to Conn. since I have no job.
Meanwhile, I'm going to see dark knight again today. this time in imax. I really shouldn't be spending the money but I can't sit here all the time. it's driving me insane.

so who wants to hear about my new boy? lol
I was up in Connecticut this weekend at a friend's house for a small party (mutual friend of timber and mind, actually). Fun, fun times. And the result is that I came back to New Jersey with most of a case of Magic Hat #9. You cannot buy Magic Hat ANYTHING here in NJ. God bless my friend.

Saturday night apparently was a crazy night for at least half of the planet, from what I've heard.
My own version involved my friend's house (as I mentioned above). Usually when i go up there, she and I drink a bunch, do some crazy things and her boyfriend shakes his head and goes upstairs to do his paranormal stuff.
Not this last Saturday. This last Saturday he was drinking too. And he was ranting and cracking us all up. And at some point there were fireworks being thrown. Crazy times.
But wait, there's more.
I sober up enough to drive up and collapse into bed just before 2 a.m. at my parents' house. I only slept about 90 minutes before the text messages started.
I have this new guy hanging around. A bartender. He and I haven't even been on a date yet and we already can be bad. lol
Anyway, he starts texting me at 3:30 a.m. "Are you awake?" Stupid me responds. I mean, smart me would have rolled over and gone back to sleep. I had to be up at 8:30 a.m. But no, i respond. And he keeps texting me. And even calls me twice.
And in one of those phone calls he accuses me of telling him that he's not good enough to take to Connecticut to meet my family and friends. Which I never did. But he swears I did this. lol
Fast forward to last night when I go bug him at work (shut up with the lush comments, Charles), and we start talking about Saturday night. He tells me how he was with his friends getting in trouble. Apparently they were kicked out of two different bars, among other things.
I tell him about his accusations and he starts laughing. He remembers texting me and calling me. He doesn't remember about the accusations. Knows I would never say that. He apologized.
And this is not the worst I've ever been dealt by a guy. lol

If he was TEASING you about not being good enough vs. he was whining about it.
I realize there could be some overlap there ...
