NaNoers among us?

Postby blank_parchment » Sat Oct 21, 2006 7:44 pm

Okay, so who NaNos? Who would like to NaNo? Who knows what NaNo is?

National Novel Writing month starts in 11 days, lasts 31 days, needs at least 50,000 words, and affects regular sleeping patterns for the next 11 months. I can't wait.

For more info, see: www.nanowrimo.org

This will be my sophomore year. Who out there is a veteran, or a newbie this year?

We've been talking about this quite a bit on the site... as well as our very own Wordtrip Novel Writing Week which starts tomorrow at 12:01am and lasts all week long as a prelude to NaNo. http://www.wordtrip.com/phpBB2/viewforum.php?f=108

I won't be participating in NaNo this year... but will act as a cheerleader to those who are!!

Thinking seriously about it...only made it 30,000 words in a little over two weeks in last years NaNo and still working with those 30 thousand. The more I work it the worse it gets. Might be a good idea to start over. :^o

I'm still mulling it over.

If I do it, I'll be unofficial anyways on account of I always write my first drafts by hand.
Me fail English? That's unpossible!

I'm a NaNo Newbie this year. I've got a rough outline and I'm ready to go.

And the evil anti-writing muses are already stacking my November calendar with things to distract me from the writing

I am a newbie as well this year. And was looking forward to it a great deal more before I had to take a job again. Oh well, I'll have to write on autopilot on the days I work, I guess as this job exhausts me.
