Cool ghostie! I almost wish you hadn't mentioned the escape pod one yet as I'd have been listening to it in a couple of days anyway and it would have been a cool suprise to find out it was you AFTER the fact
(and I'd have been sitting there wondering "where do I remember that author's name from?"). Congrats on the sales!

Just listened to the escape pod of your story Ghostie, enjoyable little tale... two questions about it
A ) Escape pod does a lot of "reprint" stories... had you sold that one elsewhere before?
B ) Did you envision the new york accent the reader used when you wrote it?

Yes, it was sold once and given away once. I just sent it in on a lark, to see what would happen.
Yep, I wrote it with the accent in mind.
I previewed it right here, as a matter of fact. Youse guys got the first read, before I polished it up and sent it off to Neo-Opsis. It's also been in Whispering Spirits, I think, or Worlds of Wonders. I fergets. That little story has hit 3 formats. Go figure.
I got a kick out of the editor's response. He was all for the story, even knowing it was a reprint. He liked the accent, and the attitude.
He's a really great person to work with. (hint hint!)
