Here's your next picture challenge to inspire us to write. Write an opening line, paragraph or even a short story to go along with the picture. Perhaps even begin a new novel! Maybe members would like to use these as future tags... just ask the person who starts it if it's ok to use.

I love the title of this one!

Girl in reptile house: "Eww. It's a snake."

Her brother: "Ah- that's nothing. Look at this one- it's like the size of a baseball bat. Now that's a snake."

Girl: "That's too big to be a snake. That's a BEAST." *shutter*

Adventurer from wherever this picture was taken: "Honey- that thing's the size of a pencil conpared to a real snake. Where I come from they don't call it a snake until it can take out your truck. And they don't call it a beast until it can take out your truck while it's streched out asleep."

LOL Saphyre. That's probably the sum total of all my husband's worst nightmares, in the picture and your description.

Mission

There are people in this world
(I've met one or two)
who see it their life's purpose
to stop me and you.

To stop us from advancing
at such a speedy pace,
or better yet, convince us
to drop out of the race!

They are slipknots, they are anchors,
One could call them brakes.
I think they most resemble
great big sleeping snakes!

LOVE IT MAE! I was reading it and wondering how you'd bring it back to the snake, and then you did. Muy bien!
