PM = "Private Message". to send one you can go into your own PM Inbox (link at the bottom of the page, should say "no new message") and then click on New Post and then type JT into the username box for who you want to send it to.

An alternative might be TheMudge as I know he did at least nominal research into bikes for his novel. I'm sure he won't be able to tell you if a model was sold in South Africa, but he may be able to point you in a good resource direction.
