Who's afraid of Ezra Pound?

Postby Delaney » Wed Oct 26, 2005 7:36 pm

I am. As a project for Poetry class I need to do an oral ( ) report with a partner on Ezra Pound. I could use some info if anybody has some to offer.

Pretty please? O:)

Sorry, Del . . . I can give you the basics (I know he taught in Indiana!) but he was barely hit on in any of my classes.

Sorry-can't help you there. The only Ezra I know is a cute 6 year old Golden Retriever Seeing Eye Dog. (My husband is blind.)

Is your report supposed to focus on any particular aspect of Pound? Is it just to be on his works or is it to have a biographical reference as well? Pound is rather infamous for his politics as well as the influence he is said to have on other poets such as Eliot.

This looks like another blast from the past thread... Del's original post was october of 2005 it looks like.
