Our First WordTrip.com Meet and Greet!

Postby Wordtrip » Sat May 01, 2004 7:43 pm

Announcing Our First WordTrip.com Meet and Greet!

Come to Athens, Georgia this July and meet your favorite Wordtrip buddies. Share stories and writing tips over a comfortable, casual dinner on Friday, then stay for a day of learning at the Georgia Center for Continuing Education on Saturday!

This get-together will coincide with a writing conference at the Georgia Center for Continuing Education, where Wordtrippers can not only hone their craft and meet other authors, but will also have a chance to meet and discuss their work with agents and editors.

This year's Harriette Austin Writers Conference, held Friday and Saturday July 23-24, 2004, offers a variety of classes to help writers learn everything from character and setting development to the demands of publishing. You can even have your manuscript evaluated by professional agents and editors!

For more information on the conference please review the course offerings at:

http://webhawc.home.att.net/2004HAWC/2004schedule.html

Accommodations are available at the Center’s Hotel.

Mark your calendars!

That’s July 23 & 24 at the Georgia Center for Continuing Education.

Is there going to be a webcam link, or at least highlights/reviews/pictures somewhere?

as this won't be "our" conference we won't be able to do a webcam link... but you can count on a ton of pictures and highlights to be certain.

Will be there but alas, only in spirit! Would that I could...

In a word, it would be a trip! But, unfortunately, one I won't be able to take. Have a great time!

Hey, Hiss, you seem to have the hook-up with this conference. Any chance of ensuring the WT folks are at the same table(s) for the Saturday dinner?
