NaPoWriMo?
I know April is the national poetry month, but I was wondering if we could hold a National Poetry Writing Month excursion. 30 poems in 30 days. Not a big challenge, but one could accumulate quite a number of poetry. I haven't written any poetry in a long time, and now I'm feeling the urge to do so. Anyone up for it?
That sounds awesome! I'd bring up the number of poems though, as some write short poems. How about lines, so writers of short and long poem could have fun. How about 1,000 lines?
I think I overuse the exclamation point! Or maybe I'm just moody!~Penguin
I'll admit I did have something to do with the thermometer incident, but it wasn't my fault.

I would definitely be up for something like that. I've been wanting to brush up on my poetry skills. What a good idea...

I do have a poetry count thread for each month, though I think to keep in line with the spirit of NaNoWriMo, you'd need something like a 4-5 poems per day average...
My blog is at http://anblicksanamorphosis.blogspot.com/
And for those wanting inspirations and a push/shove into writing poetry, pul-eeze, don't forget the Tuesday poetry challenge!

that's an insane poem level to try to maintain per day, IMO.

We don't have to conform to a familiar standard of NaNoWrimo's. We can deviate. I just want to brush off some of my poetry-writing cobwebs and get something, if just thirty quality-level poems.

WryterFor...we already have that in the poetry count thread.
And all anyone has to do is write the 3 suggestions in the Tues. poetry and you have 90 at month's end,Cyco.
