Your light, like the sun,
nurtures my spirit with joy...
You are my day-star.
nothing is ever simply Yes or No. There's always a But...

Serenity comes
while strewing crusts of bread to
mallards in the snow
nothing is ever simply Yes or No. There's always a But...

Lordly jungle cat
graced with enigmatic gaze,
what do you ponder?
nothing is ever simply Yes or No. There's always a But...

This one-horned villain
clings to the purple blossom
and brings destruction

This brown behemoth
proud symbol on a nickel
once ruled the prairie.

have spilled across the wall like
treasure for taking.

One hive broken by
a sudden storm wind's havoc,,,
clouds of frantic bees!

In the scented shade
of calendulas we lie
and dream of dancing
nothing is ever simply Yes or No. There's always a But...

My eyes are dazzled
seeking to mine the bright gold
of summer flowers
nothing is ever simply Yes or No. There's always a But...

Peace drifts softly on
the garden's quilt of colors...
it speaks to the heart.

Oh, my mockingbird,
the garden is so silent.
Why did you leave us?

Stone mountain rises
from the bones of Mother Earth
striving to touch sky
nothing is ever simply Yes or No. There's always a But...

energy unlimited
when wild lightning strikes!

Mountains of red stone
like a giant's tumbled blocks...
nature's pyramids.
nothing is ever simply Yes or No. There's always a But...
