Oh, I knew what you meant...please see my own take on it in Fish Pond...I was just kidding about hell's khaki. :)

History

Breakers laughing around
barnacled boards
under the wharf;
generations of sea fossils,
footprints to yesterday.

Hi, snowbird! Great use of the words and a very picturesque image.

Thanks, Mlou. I've seen the image many times in FL so couldn't resist the words. I've been sidetracked lately with other creative endeavors. Not much come of them tho.

Watching madness
Steal my love
You remember twilight
Lovely youth sealed
Under the rocks
Hope, Love, Dream

oh to find peace
in the stillness
of the moon and stars

Try using the exact opposite of every word on the list.

Actually, I always thought I was a rather cute, SMALL monster. (At my annual physical today, I found I'm only 4'8" now!!! I've lost 4 inches in my twilight years. *sob* ) No wonder I have such a hard time reaching the top shelf in the super market. Thank goodness for tall friendly gentlemen!

Strangled

Mundane confusion,
rusted moment,
flushing screams;
a friend's calloused breath
gargling demands.

Mlou, I've lost an inch. Are we shrinking violets :?

My mother's voice
calling me in
is but a moment past...
light years and tears ago.

Trouble is, every inch I shrink goes into horizontal expansion! :D

Love is elusive.
Let it not disappear
but, breathing all its variations,
unlock its light.
nothing is ever simply Yes or No. There's always a But...

In bathing waves
of soundless joy
I read the
echos of desire

or

In bathing waves
of soundless joy
I feel the
echos of you

CHILDHOOD MEMORY
The Atlantic nips at my heels,
waves waiting to catch me
as I scramble barefoot
on the barnacled rocks.

Ah, me! I remember it well. The old icewater Atlantic!

Pw, again we went for the same key words! :-D
Come onna my house (Fish Pond) and check it out. (I have to lure people over there. It's very lonesome and echo-y!)

I can't read your PIMs until I've done my own. If I do I start to put things together like I think you would instead of what I could do. Or course yours are always better.

to strike peace
in the heavens
is to break the
longings of desire
Is this my reality or yours?
