pen to paper, write (repeat)

A place for you writers to complain about your writing and the writing process... maybe posting what you got done today to make you feel like less of a writing failure.

Uhm, if you need an oil change every 1K, you need a retreat for a month to give you a new mindset!

Or you need to join forces with me in collaborative ways!

I'm starting to think about getting my own website and posting some stories and such on it but I'm afraid that it would be the most boring website around.

It felt like the double tag I did was harder to write then just a single one. Maybe it's because I thought I had all this freedom and could go longer and well....I did. But it was hard to focus myself when I felt that more things were wide open to me. I'm sure that doesn't make sense but oh well.

Okay someone please tell me that SEPERATE is just the non-american way of spelling SEPARATE and that I'm not just a bad speller......every stinking time.

HELP!!! I can't find my notes for the story(ies) I was going to work on for the Novel Writing Week. With my luck the only place I've got 'em is on my computer at work and I'm not going in to the office tomorrow. I swear I saved them to a disk but I can't find them. :helpme:

I AM NOT GOING INTO THAT PLACE ON THE WEEKEND!!!!!!!!

If I can only find the original handwritten notes then I'll be set. So guess what I'll be doing the rest of the day.

Quickly driving to the one place you know you have notes, sneaking in, e-mailing them home, then sneaking back out? :D

You know I did say I would participate in the Novel Writing Week but I haven't written anything yet. I'm just feeling defiant and stubborn and I can't or don't want to write anything. A part of me says "so what" and "who cares" but there's this other part of me that asked for Thursday off so I could stay home and write. I wonder which one will win out.

....maybe in another dimension. I didn't write a lick of words yesterday. I just slept, played video games and read. So much for taking a day off to do some writing.

I don't hate anyone! At least anyone here at Wordtrip. :) I'm just in a writing funk where I don't see the point in writing because everything I write is pure crap. Someone already used that idea. Or there's no flow or eloquence or beauty to my words. They're just there like dead fish washed up on a beach after high tide. The only use they have is food for the gulls and have you ever heard a lot of gulls on a beach? I swear they sound like their laughing at me.

ps don't worry. There's still time for me to get out of this funk before it's all over......I think.

Well, I feel a little bad that I didn't write anything for our Novel Writing Week but then again I don't becase: "Do or do not. There is no try." Since I knew I couldn't very well try I decided to "do not." I am going to give it a go this month to see if I can stay focused on writng for a month. It's not a NaNoWriMo thing; just me trying to get back into the habit of writing. Even though I wasn't writing last week I wasn't reading either. I think I probably read 10 pages in the whole week....and not all at ounce either. It was just one of those rough weeks to get through physically and emotionally.
