Where is everyone?

Postby JillStar » Fri Jul 24, 2015 10:49 pm

At the moment, WT is in stand-still mode. We have opened up a FB page for our 'old time' members. If you're venturing back to the site and want to get on board, send me a PM.

We hope to get our site back up and running with active members. Please come join us on FB so we can keep in touch until then.

Currently WT is being overrun by 'bot members' so it's hard to tell just how many 'real' people are joining the site. I'm fairly certain it's close to zero and will stay that way until things are fixed. There isn't enough security on the site to make it active the way it is now.

Feel free to comment on this thread... we'll make this our 'hey, how's it going thread'. :D

I check in regularly, especially looking for ideas to jump start me writing again. I check about once a week right now. I check FB even less (maybe once a month).
Is this my reality or yours?

Back in the day... in the beginning... I was on this site several times a day. :D

I'm really trying to figure out a way to get another forum to replace this one... or figure out how to get this one updated and the security issues fixed. Right now there are thousands of bots (fake members) joining a week if not every day. It's crazy stuff!

To me, the forum/board is the best way to get better at writing... I mean to share and get ideas, etc.

Some day... some day. But I post the FFF on the blog http://fastfictionfriday.blogspot.com/ which links to Facebook, etc.

Found a new group on FB--Casual Fridays. Invitational (from Margaret Sefton), but I found many of my incestuous group of writers there. You can post and comment, as desired.

Some changes are being made to the site... unless you didn't notice. :)
Not sure what the plan is but will keep everyone informed as it goes.

Well, hopefully we'll get this up and running again soon... just don't know when. Keep checking in.
