Please tell me it's possible to find a contact lense that will fit my untreated right eye that doesn't feel like it's covered in barbwire when I wear it. At this point I'd rather be blind. Thank you very much.

I missed 4 days of work last week finally ending up in the ER (for 6 hours) to find out I had bronchitis and the early signs of pnuemonia. Yeah me. And now I've got to take an antibiotic that makes me feel like a jello mold.

Yikes... hope you're still improving. We've got a house full of people coughing and snotting, but thus far think we've avoided pneumonia.

My 30-60 minute (including check in and paperwork) MRI on my right ankle took 3 hours. The imagining place was a little backed up. I'm tired, exhausted, and I ate diner way too late because of all of that. I did write a poem for a friend that was suppose to have another surgery today. It got postponed. I never would have considered writing a poem to cheer him up if it hadn't have been for the April poetry challenge. Maybe the creative juices are starting to trickle out again.

I have "insertion tendonitis" on my right achilles tendon. I've been walking around with a big ol' boot on it to rest the tendon and I have to make arrangements for physical therapy in a week to see if that helps.

Also I had an eye apointment and found I have a small cataract developing in my right eye. And that's the eye we haven't done anything with yet. Yeah me. My doc said as long as I can still see he's not to worried. If I get to the point where I can't see we'll have to figure out the transplant/cataract surgery issue then. Yeah me again.

My warranty must have expired because I'm falling apart. :(

Yep, we are now officially friends. One of these days I'm going to have to get back into Fallout 3. Since my stuff got stolen I've been reluctant to once again start games that I lost. If you haven't done so I think you should look into BioShock. Cool, creepy game with a great story and fantastic atmosphere. You'll like it.

I got yet another scratch on my right eye a couple of weeks ago. It caused swelling inside my eye which caused my pupil to constrict, greatly, and not dilate properly. I had to start drops again and not wear my contact in my right eye until today. If this keeps up my transplanet surgery for that eye might happen sooner than expected. I'm not sure I'm ready for that.

It's hard to struggle with something that everyone else takes for granted because they just don't understand the problems/fears/pain that I have to go through. When I get criticized for being moody, I might very well have a good reason to feel that way.

I'm sorry, Pengy.I know what you mean, tho ... kinda feel that way about the depression: the people who are all just, like, "What's wrong with you? You have so much to be thankful for! Why can't you just be happy?" And I am like, You are just ASSUMING that is an option for me ... and mostly, it just ISN'T.

You have my permission to be moody.

charles, it's just my contact that scratches my eye. We don't know if there's something wrong with the lense or that my eye has changed again and the contact is rubbing against that thin corneal where it shouldn't. Either way I'm screwed.

mudge, if I don't want to talk to someone about it I usually get "she must have PMS" excuse. I hope you don't get that. If I do want to talk about it nobody can relate so they don't understand the big deal. As for depression, I do understand. I've been going through a rough patch and my eye problems aren't making it any easier to "come out the other end of it".

That's where poetry comes in, I guess ... trying to force people to relate ...
