well, if it was the pastor or those people who approached me to do it, I'd have stood fast.
but it was the kids. *sigh*

but this is actually a proactive thing for me. when i left, i left it up to everyone else to find my replacement. i had no part in it. that obviously didn't work. now I'm going to be doing this again, but I have to recruit helpers. i can train those helpers and eventually convince them to take over.

But true! lol

OK, so I think I've got someone on board to help out with the youth group. We're having our first meeting on Sunday night. So I work and then turn around and drive to Connecticut only to drive back afterwards.

Now I've got to plan out things to do with the kids.

You know, I feel this blog is empty of my boy issues. But I don't think I'm going to tell them to you. Just tease you all. ;)

I had my first family dinner in my new apartment last night. Aside from the fact that I have no furniture in my living room, it was a good time. Dinner went well cooking and cleaning wise.

Oh and the fact that I don't own a coffeemaker was a problem. There's a giant Dunkin Donuts across the street, tho. But everyone was too lazy to go do that! haha

you know, this whole "i dont want to date someone seriously" stance I've had for awhile is a good once. why? because guys who walk into my life keep reminding me why I shouldn't take them seriously.

so. . .i'm trying to make up for my crappy morning.
i bought my first ever real christmas tree today. well, not real as in it was cut down. but a tree that is bigger than a foot tall. It's a 6 1/2 foot tree! I'm very excited!

And I made an awesome dinner of ravioli and a bott. . .i mean glass of shiraz.

now if the rangers could come back against the penguins, i'll be much happier.
