I cant wait for the semester to be over so i can go to bed at a reasonable hour again. . .

I was up till 2 a.m. last night doing work. I was up till 1 a.m. the night before. 1 a.m. the night before that. 3 a.m. Friday night. And then I get woken up early by the phone some days by someone wanting something from me.

HEY! you're almost ready to have a parenting schedule... I'm up till 2-3 most nights and up at 6:30-7:30 every morning...

Isn't it funny how a common ailment can seem so much worse than something life-threatening?

Maybe because we don't feel like we can quit and go home for "just a cold".

that's probably it, mudge.
and this comes at the worst time. i have end of semester crap and a conference this weekend. PLUS work.

I probably brought it on my self with the lack of sleep and not taking care of myself properly.

plus, mudge, a life-threatening illness is a real problem. a cold is just an annoyance. i bet that's how people think.

the conference was fun, but i'm exhausted. any weekend where i have to get up at 6:30 a.m. and then 7:30 a.m. is NOT a fun experience.

BUT Tom Wolfe signed a copy of The Right Stuff for me this weekend.

now I'm gonna nap or something before I tackle homework.
