Chapter 1
One, lovely beautiful morning I awoke do my usual things,
get a steaming hot shower, drink a cup of French Vanilla
coffee and then got dressed. After doing this I went to pick
up the phone to call my "elderly" mother. I had to call her
to remind her of our plans to go shopping and get some
tasty lunch. I had let the phone ring 5-6 times and my
mother never answered. I had just figured she was in
the bathroom, or getting ready for our big day. So, I
went to the hall closet to my black jacket along with my
colorful purse.
Then, I headed out the door to get into my white mini-
van. I headed down my quiet, boring street and turned
right onto Redbrook Road, a road that was much more
crowded. I went about 9 blocks to make a left onto Bluehay
Road and this was one of the most scariest roads I have ever
been on. I continued on Bluehay Road for 2 or 3 miles and
made a sharp right turn into my mother's long and bumpy
driveway which is probably about 3/4's of a mile. During this
3/4 of a mile, I passed by my mother's old garage which only
stored a bunch of junk, 3 cute brown squirrels, and 5 white
tailed deer. I finally reached the end of the driveway where my
mother's house is.

Chapter 2

When I got to the end of the driveway, I parked my white
mini van and got out. As I was doing so, my mother's dog,
Dino, a 4 year old Golden Retriever, came running up to
me to give me a present. A doggie hug and tons of wet,
slobbery kisses that I didn't really want but he's like my
bro so I didn't really mind. So, Dino and I started walking
to the front door and when we arrived I noticed that the
door was slightly ajar so I got a little worried.
I was thinking in my head, Dino always comes out his
doggie door in the back of the house. Dino and I pushed
the heavy door open and I called out, "Mom, It's Meg. Mom"
I kept calling out as Dino and I started off in the entry hall,
moved to the living room and kitchen but still did not find
her. Dino and I moved toward the stairs and when we reached
the foot of the stairs, I yelled, "Mom, are you up there?" and
no one answered.
So, Dino started up the stairs with me closely behind him. We
reached the foot of the stairs and headed slowly down the
hallway. I passed the guest bedroom, which I noticed that
my mother had recently changed the sheets from the ugly,
fire engine red, to a pretty and elegant blue. As Dino and I
walked slowly by the bathroom, I noticed that my mother
had recently cleaned the bathroom becausethe white tile
on the floor and the yellow walls sparkled and glistened
in the morning light that came through the white flowery
curtains. That's one thing I could always say about
my mom, she kept her house clean.
As I reached her bedroom door, which was closed,
I shouted, "Mom! Are you ok? I'm coming in!"
When I walked in, I was horrified to see my mother
lying in a pool of bright red blood in her cotton light
pink sheets of her bed. I was so stunned that I didn't
know what to say or do. Dino, just stood right next to
me just about as shocked as I was.
So, I decided that it would be best if Dino and I went
downstairs to call the police for assistance because what
if the killer/s were still in the house. Would they kill
me too?
Dino and I, shocked and depressed about what we had
just seen, made our way down the stairs ever so slowly
making sure we didn't touch anything so that the police could
catch the guy that did this, then convict him/her of murder and
be put on death row.
Dino and I made our way outside into the sunny but cool day. I
just kept thinking why my mother? She was the sweetest lady on
planet.
We walked out to my mini-van and I opened the sliding door
so that Dino could get in the back and lay down. After I got him
settled, I picked up my pink razor flip phone and dialed "911"
"911, what is your emergency?" the older but concerned man asked.

"I...I just found my mother dead. I need help now," I said frantically.

"Alright ma'am, remain calm. I'll send help right now. What is your address?"

"My mother's address is 1122 Bluehay Road. You must come
the whole way back the driveway to the house. The driveway
is about 3/4's a mile long and I'm sitting in my white mini-van
with my mother's dog, Dino."

"Alright, ma'am. I fowarded all this info to the police who should
be there soon. Are you alright ma'am?"

"Yeah, I'm ok. I'm just a little scared, sad, mad and lonely. my mother was my best friend."

"Yes, I know it's hard but you'll pull through. Have the police arrived yet?"

"I think soo...I hear cars coming up the driveway. Wait...I see them now. Thank-you so much for all your help. Have a good day."

"Oh, your welcome, ma'am. Goodbye!"

This is all I got so far. Any comments and CC are welcome. Thanks for reading.

Chapter 3

When the police officers parked their blue and white cars
next to my van, they got out and walked over to me.

"Ma'am, we got word that you called in a murder. Well, also I'd like to introduce myself. I'm Sergent Robert Black and this is my partner Joe Scott," the friendly cops stated.

"Well, yes I called in the murder. I recently found my mother dead in a pool of blood. I want to find out who did this," I replied.

I told the offficers how I found the body where I found it, and what I had noticed when I had first arrived.

"After I finished telling them all this, Officer Black said to me, "Well, ma'am, I'm going to radio in the medical examiner, other imporant personal, and our Chief of Police,"

"Yeah, that's fine. Is it alright if I use my cell phone to call a few members of the family?"

"Oh, sure. We won't mind. Bit would you be able to do a walk through when our chief arrives? That way we know what you touched so that we know that your finger prints aren't the killers."

"Yeah, that's totally fine."

"Alright, We're gonna go take a walk around the grounds."

The officers walked over to their car and started talking. A few minutes later, the officers got back out of the car and started walking toward the house.

While they were gone I pulled out my cell phone to call my husband, Tom, to explain what had happened. He said that he'd try to get off work early to help me figure this out.

As soon as my call ended, I heard the sound of cars coming up the driveway. It turns out the chief of police with others and the medical examiner had arrived. They parked their cars and came walking toward me.

"Hi, I'm Chief Douglara and you must be the person who found the body. Am I correct?" the chief asked sympatheticaly.

"Yeah, that's correct. Hello, I'm Meg Clark. The woman in there is my mother,"I said sticking my hand out to shake hand s with the officer.

"Alright, ma'am. I'm gonna go check in with my officers. I'll leave you here with our medical examiner, Dave Doe." Then, the Chief started walking toward the house.

"Hi, Ms. Clark. As you already know I'm Dave Doe. I'm so sorry about your mom," the medical examiner said sorrowfully.

"Oh thanks. Once you see her will you be able to tell how she died?"

"I will probably know how she died but I probably won't know the specifics like from what, if she was awake and other little details."

"Oh ok. Thanks!" Our conversation ended there bacause the chief was walking toward us.

"Ms. Clark, are you ready to go inside now?" the chief asked.

"Yes if I must,"

The chief, the medical examiner, and I walked toward the house. I started to get nervous and my hands started to get clamie and swearing. Then, I suddenly just started crying but when we reached the front door I suddenly stopped.
