Back from the dead

Postby Scarecrow » Sun Jul 13, 2008 1:48 am

Somewhere, in outer-cyberspace, a hand bursts through the fabric of reality, and I am back--a little more jaded; a little less green; older, though time is such a touchy little feller, subjective and disgruntled--and you can't imagine what a struggle it was to get back to WordTrip.

Then, you may not remember me at all. In which case: Hello! Nice to meet you... again.

Welcome back Scarecrow, although I don't think I welcomed you the first time. Anyways, good to have a bird chaser with us.

Thanks Charles. Thanks Mudge. Thanks Flash. Thanks Elle.

It's good to be back. Who I am is a difficult question to answer--though if you would have asked what instead, well that one's easy. And birds... I have a love-hate relationship with birds. Possums too, come to think of it. No. No, on second thought, I hate possums.

Thanks Dee.

I'm looking for the company of other creative thinkers. I believe I'm in the right place. At least, I haven't seen anything to make me believe otherwise.

Creepy inspiration is my specialty. Well, most of the time. Other times, the gods only know where it comes from.

So try a challenge or two, scarecrow, and see how it goes.

Thanks for the welcome-back, and the invitation to the challenge... Though I may not be taking you up on the offer anytime soon. I'm in the middle of a novel that has consumed much of my creative energies. Then again, there are dry spells that perhaps the challenges may provoke a new awakening...

Hmmm...
