hello! new to this site..i am a published writer and poet and recently moved from florida to georgia..had connections with groups there but so far have found none close to me here..so am really missing the interaction ..hope to connect and get involved here on this site..am still learning my way around..maybe on to the contest next..thats always fun! any other suggestions or thoughts would be appreciated! thanks! zoe

Welcome! For inspiration why not try one of our challenges. They're always open so it's okay to pull ones from years ago.

We also have a Large Writing Group that you could join where you submit something for critique dna leave your comments on other's work.
Is this my reality or yours?

thanks everyone for the welcomes and suggestions...a little about me..i have self published 2 books of poetry..i also had a humor column printed in a small newspaper in west ga for a few years..these articles were written by my alter ego granny barlow..a spry 90 yr old..who along with her tomcat elvis had many lively adventures..am currently turning this into book form..my main genre is "southern fried humor" ala lewis grizzard, fannie flagg, clyde edgerton..i have also written essays, articles, and short stories which have been published in various small markets..i am a member at large of the national league of american pen women..hope to get familiar enough with this site to post something..i did post one of my poems..? but i have no idea where it went to..lol :oops: zoe
