I have a 14 year old niece...the whole series is a staple in her diet...so yes..Although for me I will stick with Lestat (1st 3 books only) and Dracula (he is deliciously EVIL)

Are you a fan of Twilight?

If you can find it (its old) get They Thirst by Robert McCammon...pretty good Vamp book

Love Robert McGammon, tho I haven't read that one yet. *adds to much too long "must read" list*

the Twilight books were a good read, I'm not all that happy with the movie hype, imo that totally corrupts the story.

I recommend Dhampir by Barb and J.C. Hendee, very different form of vampire story, currently waiting to get book 4 and I'm loving it, but the original Dracula will always sit at the top of my list.

I will have to look that up.
Yes, I am a Twilight fan.
I really dont care for the movie though....And then I hate those people who say "I love Twilight" when they have only seen the movie. The real deal is in the books. :D

Well yeah, i believe so. I enjoy reading books more than watching movies. Like Harry Potter by J.K. Rowling, The Bourne Series by Robert Ludlum, Love Story by Eric Segal and many more have been turned into movies but i really loved them reading.
We think we have learned how to care for someone if we know what makes them smile....but if we really care for someone, we should know what makes them cry!

Books are always better. I've only seen the movie Marley & me and that made me choked up. No doubt the book would have me balling my eyes out!!

Hissmonster, If you chocked up during the movie...you would have cried buckets in the book. I loved that book!
