Strangeminds there I go.

Postby longfinkillie » Sun Sep 03, 2006 2:49 pm

I started posting on Strangeminds, but that place was like a vacant 7/11. I really need a crowded room to scream in. This could be the place. I'm a nice guy, I love everyone. Except for that guy. Yeah, that one over there...Hey punk whatcha lookin at!?

Cheers.

Thanks for the kind words. I like it here already. I found a link for glowing pigs. Everyone here is alot stranger than the blokes at the magazine. As soon as I lay in hardwood floors, this place should feel just like home.

Music writer from San Diego. I sold out and went corporate. Still freelance here and there. Most of time is dedicated to writing about revenue streams. I'm re-reading Siddhartha right now, can't get enough of the classics. Nuff about me, how bout you?

Citizen Journalism? Your views are intriguing to me. Tell me more [folding hands, placing them under chin]. Nah, ya don't have to. I wish you the best of luck. By the way, who around here has the strongest writing kung fu around here?

Welcome, longfinkillie...or can we call you lfk? I don't like typing. :)
So what do you/are you writing? Fiction, non-f, poetry, humor, horror...or do the first four all end up being the fifth? Okay, kidding!

I'm ghosting a guru book for PBS. It's called "Relax and Focus." It's a hard thing to do since I run with safety scissors. Right now I'm transcribing all of his lectures and television shows. How 'bout you Mlou?

I have to say that this place is perfect. So many rides! My favorite so far has to be the pictures thread. By the way, props to "X" for being the first to stand up in class and welcome me. Thanks man.

I dig this place Mlou. Would you mind if I stick around for a while?

Cheers.

Great, LFK! The more the merrier...no bars on this nut house....um, I meant to say serious site for dedicated writers.
Me? I keep busy, lol. Write for a couple of newspapers but not as many as formerly. Have a novel due out in a couple of months and act as mod for the poetry challenges here...or TRY to. We're an unruly bunch! :D

Fine. I didn't want that one anyway. Sniff. I do have the coolest pic of Catherine Deneuve from Belle De jour, clad in pillbox hat, black goggles and overcoat. Can you silk screen a straightjacket. If not, then I'll just take the one with the shiniest buckles.
Ooooh, shiny!
