Here I am:
- I'm in my mid forties.
- I'm finally finding time to write after raising a family, farming, etc.
- I have been writing for a year now.
- I have one ms (murder mystery) finished, the sequel is 1/4 done.
- I FINALLY published something (humor article in a regional paper) this month. Can you hear my huge sigh of relief?
- Patience is not my forte'.
- I'm collecting rejection slips.
- I'm procrastinating.
- My family is starting to get a glazed look in their eyes when I talk about writing, so I am looking forward to the writings of like minded addicts on this web.

Mine are split about 50-50, rejection vs no response. Finally got my first article published in a local weekly newspaper last September, but no acceptances on any of my magazine submissions so far. Still puttin' the queries out there, but with each passing week it gets harder and harder to hold onto hope. *sigh*

Welcome scribbler!!!!!!!

Just so you're aware there is no cure for this writting sickness. We all just have to treat the symptoms and withdrawls as them come up.

I just posted the Wednesday What If challenge that I'm sure you could whip up a mystery about it. Have at it....or try anything else you find around the boards. Have fun....keep writing....and no procrastinating allowed (unless it's here on this site :D )
