Did that by any chance become a Hitchcock movie? I know he did one by that name...

Hate to dredge up this old and moldy thread...BUT I finally saw Hitchcock's Jamaica Inn (thank you, Netflix). Ok...so, the transfer to DVD was rough...to say the least. However, it did have some rather fun qualities. For one, it starred a stunningly beautiful Maureen O'Hara. Also, it was interesting to see some of the special effects, especially the ship wrecks. For any Hitchcock fan, this movie is an interesting look at his early work.

I remember it. It was great. As for Maureen, we have The Quiet Man, which we still look at once in a while. One of my husband's favorite movies. And, yes, she was truly beautiful. They don't make the kind of movies that they used to, like Jamaica Inn, which had such an understated quality of menace. Now they have to have chain saws to get the point across!

Hi ya'll...I'm back!!! It's been awhile since I have last posted on this forum. Sorry to say that part of the reason was that I didn't have time to read or write  . But my life has calmed down again, and I'm back to one of the activities that I love the most. So how's everyone been?

Hi...I'm back. I can't believe it has been over two years since I have posted here. That makes me really sad. Good news, though. I have been writing. My goal is to get my novel written this year!!! Hopefully you will see a lot more of me now...

BTW...where the heck is everyone???

It seems most everyone has also been stricken with that pesky thing called "life"...

I've since retired from the Air Force and am now a Sr Satellite Engineer with Lockheed Martin. I'm still happily married and have another baby due in May. All that has been keeping me really busy. I still check in from time to time, but have not yet mastered the getting more time to write thing yet...
