LOL Jt. He was acting awfully childish, wasn't he?

And yes, my husband and I have had more than one conversation on why we dislike organized religion sometimes. I can really see why people choose to be agnostic or the like.

Del, I can perfectly understand where you're coming from. There are many terrible reasons in this world to get married (just as there are many good ones), and if you're happy not being married why should anyone else question you? Sounds to me like Rachel is a bit of a nosy Nellie.

From the I haven't been on a rant in a while so prepare yourselves department: This weekend was probably not destined to go well for me. I had my HSG test on Friday afternoon (I won't go into any of the particularly gory details, but you can google HSG if you want to know more about it) and the test...

Harrison Ford will always be the man. I just didn't like the film. It was ok. But I prefer my movies with less CGI. Which is why I'm an original Star Wars purist - most of the added CGI in the re-release was unnecessary. I guess Indy couldnt' fight Nazis forever, but the alien concept just wasn't al...

Ok, maybe this was inspired by Vitor Miera's spectacular crash in Milwaukee this weekend (hey, one Indy car jumping another like it's a Dukes of Hazzard episode is pretty amazing!) but here's the #3 challenge based on The Wheel of Time. Time is a wheel Turning in on itself, Ceaseless rounds of Simil...

A Load of Bull I warned you – I’m not in a good mood. The headbutt, snorting and grunting should have clued you in, but no. I knocked you down and all you could do was get up and dust yourself off before trying to ride me again. And those guys on the horses? They aren’t a threat. I could charge afte...

Paul, I guess as long as your oranges don't start swearing at you in French, you're ok.

If you hear one say "merde" though I'd turn and run the other way. Very quickly

Well I'm back from my Memorial Day vacation, and from the looks of it, I don't believe that people are not traveling because of the economy (more leftist propaganda to make the current administration look bad if you ask me) - our flight to Baltimore was pretty full, and if the traffic on I-66 toward...

Thanks! I'm rather proud of us, anyway! Tomorrow we're heading out to visit with Bill's family in Fairfax. I'm looking forward to having a day off - my first since Christmas. It'll be nice to see them. I think we're going up to our alma mater, JMU, on Saturday which should be a blast from the past. ...

My favorite line is " a large ochre colored raisin with feet" - very descriptive.

And this freaked me out a little since I recently read "Next" by Michael Chricton.

INteresting take on the topic, PG.

I raised $315 which was over my goal, and I was proud of how my friends came through for us. What I can't believe is that I still have legs after that - I'm ...

Well this weekend started out very crappy and ended on a quieter note, so I guess I can't complain. Besides if I did, who would listen? LOL. Well I'm happy to report that on my day off it didn't rain! I ended up going to help my husband film practice because both of his guys were sick with the stomach flu, and quite frankly, I'm glad they didn't come to work. I just taped the offensive drills...pretty easy stuff....when they break the hu...

I just found out that the friend I"m making the poetry book for broke her leg on a ski vacation last month. Hopefully this will be a nice "get well" present. Of course, it takes a month for mail to get to England, so she'll probably be in rehab by the time she gets it. Not much going on, as per usua...

It's just a smattering of all my poetry (well the poems i don't think are crap anyway!), handwritten in a notebook with scrapbooking embellishments like stickers and stencils and fuzzy thread, etc. It's fun to make. Might make one for my mom if it turns out ok. I'm spending way too much money on boo...
