True. I think I'm glad I wasn't home. Now the weather service is saying it might have been a small tornado combined with the microburst.

A tornado. Here in west buttmunch Massachusetts...

From the I know it's been a long time since I wrote but my life has been quiet lately files: I haven't written in a while because it's been relatively uneventful in my life lately -that is until last Saturday night anyway. My husband and I were furniture shopping for a new sofa and were gone for mos...

JT, that's exactly how I feel about Sinatra. As a musician, I know people think I'm crazy, but I don't think he was that great a singer.

Wonderful contributions all around:)

I know I cheated but when you combine Beethovan and The Twilight Zone with a little Sylvia Plath, it's a miracle your brain doesn't implode.

Redneck is a state of mind, not geography. I bristle a bit at my southern heritage being put down by those who think all southerners are rednecks. Some of the biggest rednecks I"ve met in my 33 years of life are from right here in rural western MA.

Got the hubby's car towed last night. It was wierd because I got to thinking 'how in the hell can it be put on the back of a tow truck if it can't be put into gear' but the guy managed. He basically dragged it onto the truck - all the while I was cringing that the $1000 worth of body work we just pu...

Well, July is finally here and has started off well. On the 3rd Bill and I had our in vitro class - it took an hour and a half at the hospital and basically just went into more detail on what we already know. It's mandatory though, so what can you do? I think in a way I feel better about it now, alt...

Well I must say this past weekend is one of the coolest I've ever experienced. On Saturday my hubby and I drove to Newport Rhode Island to attend the Rhode Island Air National Guard Open House and Air Show. We left Saturday morning and got there around 12:30. As we were pulling in to park, a Stealth...

I dont know - sometimes I think the stories are unique, and then poorly executed in the movies. I think if he just stuck to writing movies and let other more established directors create the movies, they might do better. I do think you have to give MKS credit for being creative. Such a sad poem! I didn't see the incest angle, although I see why it could read that way. I think there's nothing better than poetry that reads one way to the author and another to the reader. I wrote a poem like that one time based on Paradise Lost and someone told me they thought it was about rap...

Basically the post credit IM thingy just sets up Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury for his movie. It was a whole ten seconds or so. You didn't miss much.

I too liked Iron Man. For some reason Tony Stark was more believeable as the superhero type.
