Not much is going on in my life just now. I'm continuing to write (or really, continuing to think that everything I write is crap) and still working on the cross stitch I started my nephew a year ago. Perhaps if I ever get it done I'll point everyone in the direction of my Flickr account so you can ...

Timber, I'm laughing so hard at that - I'm suprised you can't hear me all the way out there in Cambridge! Don't think of it as having no balls, it's just that you've misplaced them and are borrowing someone else's until you find yours. Ah, life out here in the sticks of western MA wouldn't be nearly...

Yeah JT, that was my initial reaction too. That and I need to take better care of my car. So I talked to my folks last night - my nephew (4 yrs old) told me that he had headache and he didn't think it would get better! What a little drama king! Seriously, though I think he's seen how much at...

It's a 2002 SL2, but it has about 130,000 miles on it. Between my old commute and following the football team all over New ENgland I've wracked up the mileage.

Sigh. From the Occam's Razor is a pain in the a$$ department : After all the crap my in-laws put me (and my hubby) through over my car, after all the stress of schlepping my car all over creation and spending money I didn't have to try and get the same opinion twice out of mechanics, after all the w...

I guess if they didn't mention all the things Owen can't do, then we'd have to assume the alien whatsits that took over his body were keeping him alive and from decaying. But if we're supposed to assume that, then they shouldn't keep making all these contrary statements. It's like they'll have no id...

Unfortunately one bad apple spoils the bunch. That stinks that they couldn't fire that guy. All they need now is the lady that got mooned to sue on grounds of harrasment.

Some people are so stupid.

Geez, whatever happened to holding those responsible accountable for their own actions? Immediately fire them, but yeesh, why didn't they just stop serving alcohol at this thing, instead of treating the rest of you like children? To me that makes more sense. That really stinks! Here's a <<<<<<<HUG>>...

And thanks JT, the playing went as well as it could have. My hubby thinks I made much ado about nothing as far as getting so stressed out. I told him that I felt tired afterward, like I'd just had a huge weight lifted off my shoulders. I guess it was a metaphor for Easter in a way, but I probably ov...

From the files of the NOW I'M OFFICIALLY PISSED department  Ok, I just got off the phone with Firestone. I originally took my car to a local placed named Route 9 Auto because they specialize in servicing Saturns. When our local Saturn dealer packed up and left town, the mechanics stayed and op...

Yeah, it just sounds bad. They told me today though that it could be a cracked head gasket, which wouldn't be as labor intensive since they wouldn't have to replace the cylinder, just the gasket. I'm praying it's that.

From the files of the Good News and Bad News department... The bad news is I'm facing a $1000 repair bill for my car. It seems that somehow they think I've got a cracked cylinder gasket and after I get a compression test done, if that's what it is, they have to take the engine block apart, rebuild t...

Yikes! That's far scarier than when my poodle Buttons, a toy poodle, used to have seizures. I think unfortunately, in some small breeds this kind of thing is common. At least Zippy seems to be ok now.
