Well, you get weirdos on every site I guess. I kind of let those comments slip by without answer. I got one that said, "I'm sorry but..." That was it. Have no idea what it meant, and another with just one weird word.

Yay, mae...an oldie but a goodie! Somehow I missed it, first time around. But it gives a lovely warm feeling of meeting life together, just as my husband and I have always done it, also....for 60 years. :)

lol CP...it's just that that front page "announcement" would turn off any newbies that we might otherwise lure in here and trap. And yeah, as you can tell, it really bugs me...makes us look so "yesterday" :)

TUESDAY POETRY CHALLENGE = 8-3-10

Time flies when you're having fun..where did Tuesday come from this quickly?? On that note, a challenge: 1. Anything you want to write about time. 2. And, going along with the present glum mood, let's have a poem about bones. 3. Finally, the always dependable word list. Let's have some really upbeat...

Yes, I was thinking of things just being created...the dipper, Pegasus he'd already done, and became the whole galaxy with parts of himself in the constellations. But of course it wasn't a deeply planned, thought out piece. I hardly ever write them ahead. I just do it on the post, as it happens to c...

HOW CONSTELLATIONS WERE BORN From his bucket of stars Sky Master drew the dipper out, set it in the north and spilled it forth into the dark glass of evening sky. Stepping quietly past the wing of Pegasus, he became the galaxy of the Milky Way, and placed his eye, bright as the light of noon, into t...

yup...correct usage is "you and me"...you wouldn't say "room for I", and the "for" applies to both. But it's a great poem, however you fill the closet... :D

I LOVE this, OP! Well done! I would not slash and hack a thing!
