Let's see... I think you mentioned something about a 2500 word count for the week. Does the week begin right now?

Oh my... that is funny and I don't know if I would want to hear said "hissing" sound when you are touched on the neck. My neck is not ticklish (though things do happen when it is touched) and quite honestly... I hate being tickled. It actually hurts rather than feels good. I don't like coffee so can...

Nah... she's a little "off" for me to hang out with her.

And it seemed obvious that an ice pick would hurt. I suppose even a toothpick would hurt if it were used to pick my brain.

I also know some stuff about building fires, wearing lots of layers of clothing and building snowmen.

Real estate in Northern Califoria is expensive and that fact only benefits the realtors. Making money there was easier then it will ever be here in Nevada. Ho-hum.

Any way... I know some stuff about it (or at least I best since I "pretended" to know what I was doing).

I don't know nothin. Can I specialize in that? Maybe if I start with work-related experience, I'll come up with something. Administrative- paralegal type stuff, high risk auto insurance, real estate, billing administration and working at Discovery Channel Store. I understand cats and they talk to me...

I'm feeling inspired to re-write a roadrunner type story with the coyote winning... blood everywhere. Well, maybe not everywhere, but at least the coyote would be full of bird and the bird out of my site.

Hi Hiss... I agree with really enjoying the final part when the guy you just love to hate finally gets "his". But I have to admit to sometimes cheering on the bad guy as the good guy always wins. It's a lot like watching the Roadrunner and Coyote... I just wish once that coyote would eat the roadrun...

have trouble? I enjoy it... killing off characters is one of my favorite things about writing... I have to control myself or I'll have everybody dead in the first 12 pages and have no story left. I can see how a story would fizzle without a few characters actually ALIVE. :D Sooner or later I'm goin...

Killing characters

As I am getting deeper into my novel, I'm realizing some of my characters need to fade away either by leaving the story or dieing. They are essential to the story, but now it's time to say good-bye. Unfortunately, I'm getting attached to some of the charactgers and really don't want to kill them off...

I agree with Mudge regarding the first line. You could simply say "A leaf upon a tree or A leaf. :: I am a leaf upon a tree :: tender, green and young. :: I lay safely on top not wanting :: to encounter the crumbling :: crunching sound I like these lines, however do feel you should make the first li...

Hi EZ, I thought I would drop in a give my thoughts on your poem. My overall impression was that there was a lot of feeling in the poem, pain and loneliness. I could sense a loss of some kind and hopelessness. At the end it seemed like a suicide note, but from your posts it sounds like this poem occ...
