I've never done it before (I always have midterms in November and I'm more of a short story girl anyway) but I'm thinking since I'm not in school now I just might give it a shot.

Gee, PW...The first thing I did when I got this 'puter was turn off the spell check. It drove me crazy. "I" know just what I want to say and I couldn't stand this little pest interrupting with "its" idea of what was right. Especially, if I were writing dialect or slang. Grrr! I hear ya. My spellche...

Hey, welcome to Wordtrip Archilles.

I started my first novel a couple of months ago. I'm hoping since I've publicly admitted to starting it I'll have to finish it. But I've got a long way to go.

I can't stand gel pens either. I use ordinary cheap ballpoint pens, blue ink alomst always. I use pencils for outlines/notes/editing and I am crazy about having them sharp. And I always write my first drafts by hand. Then I type stuff on the computer but I always have to print at some point and edit...

He said "Don't write first drafts. Write final drafts." He said we should do all our work, noties, outlining before we even start to write. That way we won't get hung up on the story in the middle because we've figured everything out already. I can't do this either. I need to get things down and th...

I'm the only person I know who can write faster than type.

I like to pretend this is because my writing is crazy fast rather than my typing being slow.

Well, I get a lot of genealogical sites and obituaries. Apparently there were/are a lot of people in New England with the same names as me, some going back to the 19th century, all of whom are dead. hyperfine gives me science sites about spectroscopy, which is where I got the name in the first place...

When I was finishing high school I used to have a notebook that I just wrote all my random thoughts in before I went to bed. I was really stressed out then and I couldn't sleep while I was still thinking about too much stuff. Looking at it now it makes almost no sense and the writing is illegible in...

Sorry to hear about your parents. Hope they'll be okay.

I have friends who ditch me for their boyfriends all the time. And then who do they call and cry to the second they break up?

Hey, it can only get better, right?

At least that's what my mom always tells me.

Welcome Internet Poet!

Wow, I don't know too many people who've stuck with a website for 7 years. That's an accomplishment in itself.

The entire text of my website is Why are you reading this? Don't you have anything better to do with your time? It's been like that for three years.
