Re: Getting The Ball Rolling

My enemy is time. I just don't have very much of it left after I take care of all the things I HAVE to do. Granted some of those "have to" items I've self imposed on myself and could get rid of them if I wanted to. The biggest thing is that I started a YouTube channel to post videos of me ...

Re: WordTrip Revival

I've been checking in every now and then, even if I don't say anything. My creativity seems to have died so I'm trying to revitalize that as well.

I haven't given up on this site. I'm just not feeling very creative or inspired lately. I still come back every week or so hoping something will click in my brain and I'll start writing again. There just seems to be too much "real world" stuff going on that I can't concentrate on "imaginary worlds" ...

I agree with your lost sentence completely. And what I like most about WT and why I would rather show my writing (if I ever do any) here than elsewhere (incl family) is that this placed is filled with like-minded people. FB is a hodgepodge of people and most of them just don't get what it means to s...

I've noticed in my life certain times of the year I'm more prone to write things (or want to write things) than other times. Also certain days of the week or more likely to get me into the mood to write. Wednesdays and Thursdays for example. I found an old journal the other day and looking through s...

I'm trying to get back into writing by using my magnetic poetry on my calendar. I have several email addresses for various things ...

Just think of those 750 words as an extended warm-up for when you sit down to write something longer. Whether it's fiction or not your brain will know how to gear up and get going when you really need it to.

Inspirational quote

I got a Magnetic Poetry calendar at the first of the year but I'm just now getting it set up. There was a quote on one of the months I missed that I liked so much I cut it out and put it up on my wall. I thought I'd share it with you. Here it is: "I have never thought of writing for reputation or ho...

I bought a magnetic poetry calendar this year and for awhile I didn't know where I put it. I found it recently and decided to finally put it up on cube at work (to try and make things better for me there--see personal blog rant). I played around with the words for a couple of days and I came up with...
